What is Baptism? Is there any meaning to it? If you were baptized as a baby, is that enough and you don't need to do it again? Does Jesus say "you must be baptized?" Is there any specific way to be baptized?
If we are a christian, then we are proclaiming that we follow the teachings of Jesus and we do things the way Jesus did things. WE ARE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST
When you are baptised as a baby, your parents dedicated you to the Lord. But as you grow up and you become a christian, then you must, by your own CHOICE to be baptized. As a baby, it wasn't your choice.
When Jesus was born, He was dedicated to the Lord, but when He grew up at the age of 30, just before His last 3 years of teaching and His death, John the Baptist, baptized Jesus in the Jordon River by TOTAL submersion. It was Jesus' choice. So in that very statement, if Jesus is supposed to be our example, then this is the only way. Watch the following 20 minute video. It will answer ALL your questions....
