It is ABSOLUTELY wrong by God's law, but it evidently is not wrong by this world's laws. This is always a very heated debate and you will get 2 opposing views depending on where the person is coming from. If you are a Christian, believing in the Bible that it is GOD's words, then you have to say it is wrong. Morally wrong, by God's standards. But by the worlds laws it is not.
There are people who confess to be followers of God and believe a very mixed up version of the bible and they believe this act is okay. But God says the law of the world is not His law and we are told to follow the law of the world ONLY if it does not go against His laws. It would be better to go to jail for not following a world law, that was against God's word, than to go to hell for following it.
Just because there is a law that allows gay marriages, we as christians are not to follow this law. Suppose a law was past that stated, "if someone does an injustice to you, you are allowed by law to kill him or her on the spot!" By the law of this world, you would be in your LEGAL RIGHT to do so, but God's law forbids it.
Conclusion: Who is right? Both are right.
It just matters which one you follow and where you want to go. It depends on who your TRUE God is. The world's laws and your rights, which the penalty is to go to hell or God's laws and go to Heaven. What do you think?

It is wrong without a doubt. There are many verses in the bible where God strickly forbids relations with the same sex or animals. That these people that engage in these acts will not inherit the kingdom. He does not hate the person, but He does detest the sin

His prayer is to have everyone come to Jesus that they would all be saved.Up to their last breath, and if they do not say Jesus. There is no hope for them, They sealed their fate. God is all merciful, and Loving, but He will not interfere with their will, and they will be judged. So I say Pray for they while they are still alive. Once you die It is too late to come to Jesus.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who calls upon the Name of Jesus will be save. For those who refuse to mention Jesus' Name, will have eternal damnation. Not everyone who says Lord will inherit the Kingdom Of Heaven.

We realize that this subject can be a very difficult one to address. Furthermore, as hate crimes specifically committed against homosexuals occur, many feel that this issue shouldn't be addressed at all for fear of only adding to the hostile environment that many homosexuals face. Despite the cultural climate in which we live, this issue must be addressed according to the Word of God. God's laws are always for our good, although man may see them as restricting. In the end, only obedience to the Word of God can bring true freedom. We address this issue out of God's love for the homosexual to bless and help him.
ReplyDeleteMuch of our society has embraced many perverted sexual practices that are considered in the Bible as abominations to God. Homosexuality is among the list of deviate or abnormal sexual practices however, there are many other practices that can be included as well. Pornography, pedophilia, prostitution, bestiality, oral sex, phone sex and computer virtual reality sex, just to name a few of them.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
Although the Bible doesn't detail each and every one of these sinful acts, it does clearly speak out about many of them. Any deviation from God's original plan for sex between a married man and woman is still a sin in God's eyes. The main reason we call these things perverted is because they are unnatural and scripture clearly tells us those who do such things are committing abominations. Leviticus 18:22 (KJV): "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind it is abomination."
Homosexuality is also referred to as the sin of sodomy. This reference comes from an account in the Bible of two exceedingly wicked cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, which the Lord destroyed. Sodom was known for its rampant homosexuality and unrestrained sexual lust, as well as other sins such as arrogance, haughtiness, and disregard for the poor. When the Lord sent angels to warn Lot who lived in the city that it was about to be destroyed, the men of the city actually wanted to rape the angels! Genesis 13:13: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."
In the Old Testament the penalty for this sin was severe. Leviticus 20:13: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Today the penalty of death comes in the form of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. It also brings death to the soul and spirit of man because the life of God is pushed out by indulging in something that is an abomination to God. God wants to deliver all who are trapped in this unholy practice and He will if anyone calls out to Him with a sincere heart.

I was like everyone else when it came to witnessing to people, We are no better than the Homosexuals. We sin too just like they do. to God there is no measure of sin. a sin is still a sin in God's eyes.
ReplyDeletewhen we talk to some who is gay, never put a name on his/her sins. That is wrong. No body wants their sin exposed to everyone. This is something most Christian's do,and it is wrong. God gave us the ten commanments to witness by.
It will be the Holy Spirit who will work on them. all we need to do is talk about what God says about salvation. A liar is one who keeps lying, and if he did not repent they will not go to heaven, just like the Homosexuals. So you see, Liars and Homosexual, and thieves etc...etc... will not go to Heaven
I pray for them. I have friends who are gay, and they are lost like any other sinner. We talk about the Laws of God, The Ten Commandments. That is all you have to do, and let the Holy Spirit do his work.
